[The correction of free-radical oxidation processes in patients with chronic cholecystitis subjected to ionizing radiation exposure].

An activation was found of lipid peroxidation system as well as suppression of antioxidant defence tending to be more profound in blood erythrocytes, in 47 patients with chronic cholecystitis having been in the zone of abnormal radiation. Correction of the above alterations revealed unithiol, clinical and biochemical effects to be pronounced compare with those or tocopherol.
