Abstract
Five cases of Schilder's disease with adrenal insufficiency are reported (adrenoleucodystrophy) one of whom has a first cousin with Addison's disease. The principle clinical features of the disorder are outlined and particularly the great variability in the severity of the adrenal insufficiency. The current understanding of this disorder is reviewed.

报告了5例患有肾上腺功能不全的席尔德病（肾上腺脑白质营养不良），其中1例的一级表亲患有艾迪生病。概述了该疾病的主要临床特征，尤其是肾上腺功能不全严重程度的巨大变异性。回顾了目前对该疾病的认识。
