[Current clinical gastroenterology and digestive physiology (the problems of regulation)].

The paper analyzes the modern concepts of the regulation of the digestive system. The neuroendocrine control of hydrochloric acid secretion is given by the author as an example of the multifactorial and polyvariant nature of the gastrointestinal regulatory systems. The use of the experimental physiological findings in gastroenterological care is discussed.
