The presence of facial nerve paralysis in the presence of an ipsilateral parotid gland tumor is almost an indication of parotid gland malignancy. Benign parotid gland tumor with facial nerve palsy is very rare. Only three cases have been reported in the literature. The case presented here is a 40 year-old male who had had a right-side parotid tumor for three years, developing a right side facial nerve paralysis within the past three months. After surgical removal of the tumor, the facial nerve function returned to normal. The tumor was a benign tumor, as confirmed by pathological examination.
同侧腮腺肿瘤伴有面神经麻痹几乎提示腮腺恶性肿瘤。伴有面神经麻痹的腮腺良性肿瘤非常罕见。文献中仅报道过3例。本文介绍的病例是一名40岁男性，右侧腮腺肿瘤已存在3年，在过去3个月内出现右侧面神经麻痹。肿瘤手术切除后，面神经功能恢复正常。经病理检查证实，该肿瘤为良性肿瘤。
