Risk analysis techniques used in valuing medical practices are discussed. Employing these techniques provides superior information to the analyst than using a single estimate for uncertain variables. Examples of scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and simulation are presented. These tools can be easily implemented with spreadsheet software.
