This article has focused on the management of anterior ethmoid and frontal sinus tumors by the otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon. It emphasizes surgical treatment and describes clinical "pearls and pitfalls" for both the resident and senior clinician. The opinions that we have formulated and that we present herein are based on experience with over 100 cases of tumors of the paranasal sinuses. During this experience, we have utilized and initiated a variety of surgical and reconstructive techniques. Only those that have consistently afforded the best anatomic exposure, surgical flexibility, and reconstructive reliability have been high-lighted and confidently recommended.
