The details are provided on the role of computed tomography (CT) in determination of indications for and scope of surgical interventions in polypous rhinosinusopathy, osteomas of the sphenoid sinus, total sequestration of the labyrinth, chronic otitis media purulenta invading the orbit and the brain. CT permitted optimal surgical intervention and prevention of serious postoperative complications.
