Abstract

The procedure described offers a technique for determination of cylinder axis which requires no additional equipment beyond the basic apparatus used in a conventional laser refraction. An application of the Maddox Rod allows the patient to subjectively select the proper cylinder axis so that conventional laser refraction may proceed more smoothly and accurately
