Abstract

OBJECTIVE

The authors investigated, by reviewing publications and their personal experience, opportunities for the use of nitroglycerin to manage several obstetric emergencies.

METHODS

A retrospective study of 10 observations of internal podalic versions of the second non-vertex twin, with administration of intravenous nitroglycerine, performed between August 1994 and March 1996, was undertaken. The authors compared their results with those reported elsewhere. The indications of nitroglycerin have been extended to intrapartum external version of the second twin, retained placenta, and uterine inversion.

RESULTS

Only one failure of internal podalic version due to failure of uterine relaxation was observed.

CONCLUSION

From both experience and published reports it was confirmed that intravenous nitroglycerin (NTG) injection induces a transient and prompt uterine relaxation without affecting maternal and fetal prognosis.

目的

作者通过回顾文献及自身经验,研究使用硝酸甘油处理多种产科急症的机会。

方法

对1994年8月至1996年3月间进行的10例对第二非头位双胎行内倒转术并静脉注射硝酸甘油的观察进行回顾性研究。作者将其结果与其他地方报道的结果进行比较。硝酸甘油的适应证已扩展至第二双胎的产时外倒转术、胎盘滞留及子宫内翻。

结果

仅观察到1例因子宫松弛失败导致的内倒转术失败。

结论

从经验和已发表的报告均证实,静脉注射硝酸甘油(NTG)可诱导子宫短暂而迅速的松弛,且不影响母婴预后。
