Perioperative nursing--a course for the future.

Australia is home to a number of endangered species--the koala perhaps being the most well known. I will discuss another familiar species which is nonetheless in danger of extinction--the perioperative registered nurse. My paper will propose a strategy to increase their numbers within their normal habitat of the operating suite.
