Based on literature and own experience the authors present operative approaches to the tumours of the cerebello-pontine angle. The technique of the suboccipital and supratentorial approach is discussed, its advantages an disadvantages and the risk of complications. Examples of surgical tactics depended on tumour size and the neurological state of the patient are presented.
