Abstract
Streptomyces globisporus 1912 produces anthracycline-like antibiotics inhibiting the growth of gram-positive bacteria. 6-7 compounds can be separated from crude culture extract by means of thin-layer chromatography. The compound with Rf 0.33 can act as the antitumor antibiotic against Guérin carcinoma of rats.

球形孢链霉菌1912产生抑制革兰氏阳性菌生长的蒽环类抗生素。通过薄层色谱法可从粗培养提取物中分离出6 - 7种化合物。Rf值为0.33的化合物可作为抗大鼠格林癌的抗肿瘤抗生素。
