Abstract
Joanne Disch, PhD, RN, FAAN, is senior associate director and director of patient-family services at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinic (UMHC). In this interview, she discusses patient care system redesign and UMHC's, and the nursing staff's, development and evolution in a Stage 4 managed care market.
