The work was undertaken to investigate the mycoflora of the lowland river Narew and its tributaries in the stretch from Siemianówka to Doktorce. Samples of water collected once a month over the years 1987-1991 for hydrochemical analysis and studies of the stretch from Siemianówka to Doktorce. The following fungi unknown from Poland were found in this rivers: Dangeardia laevis. Lagenidium rabenhorstii, Olpidiopsis achlyae, Phytophthora megasperma, Phytophthora gonapodyoides, Pythium akanense, Tricladium fuscum and Tricladium patulum.
