Abstract
In this article, the MR imaging appearance of various aspects of liver cirrhosis (macroscopic morphologic changes and focal manifestations) is reviewed with particular reference to the premalignant nodular lesions that should be differentiated from hepatocellular carcinoma. MR imaging findings reflecting portal hypertension are also presented.
