The theory of regional cerebral hypertension is based on methodological imperfect and indirect studies of blood pressure in superficial temporal arteries. The use of a modified direct oscillographic study of these arteries, as well as of a direct (bloody) study of the figures of pressure in them during catheterization refutes the concept of a significant lower level of this pressure compared to the pressure in magistral arteries in normal conditions. These data served as a basis for the premises of the theory of regional cerebral hypertension.
