[Clinical laboratory research on the properties of Aquafresh toothpaste].

The study of the teeth in 35 patients with chronic catarrhal generalized gingivitis and periodontitis of moderate severity using tooth paste Aquafresh for a months confirmed high cleansing, antiinflammatory and refreshing potential of the paste which, moreover, has a good taste and mint flavor. Laboratory tests showed low abrasibility of the paste, its ability to raise by 12.5% the resistance of the enamel to demineralizing action of the lemon juice. Not a single case of the paste-induced irritation of the oral mucosa and teeth was registered.
