Ethiology, diagnosis, prognosis and the way of the intravenous catheter embolism (ICE) elimination are depicted. The results of endovascular removal of foreign bodies from the cardiac chambers and main vessels are presented. Recommendations concerning the patients with ICE conducting are given.
