Abstract

This report describes a case of a vein of Galen aneurysm. A 6-month-old baby with a slight head injury was referred to our hospital. CT scans and MR images demonstrated a vein of Galen aneurysm. Left carotid angiogram showed a vein of Galen aneurysm with a large feeding artery from the posterior cerebral artery. Transarterial embolization was performed using Galen coils and Interlocking Detachable Coils. Angiograms after the second embolization revealed complete occlusion of the aneurysm and postoperative course was uneventful.

本报告描述了一例大脑大静脉动脉瘤病例。一名头部轻度受伤的6个月大婴儿被转诊至我院。CT扫描和磁共振成像显示为大脑大静脉动脉瘤。左颈动脉血管造影显示大脑大静脉动脉瘤，有一条来自大脑后动脉的粗大供血动脉。使用Galen弹簧圈和可脱性弹簧圈进行了经动脉栓塞。第二次栓塞后的血管造影显示动脉瘤完全闭塞，术后过程顺利。
