Cutaneous leishmaniasis in Bisha Town, Saudi Arabia.

Of 620 out-patients of Bisha hospital, 110 showed cutaneous leishmaniasis. Leishmania bodies were demonstrated in smears of 73 patients. Both sexes were similarly affected. The highest incidence was among children in the age group one to 10 years. A single lesion was the predominant feature. The face was the commonest site of infection.
