Author in the process of the trichrom staining method instead of Orange-G, acid fuchsine and aniline-blue applied other dyes. For the staining of thin sections ponceau-S was found more suitable than acid-fuchsine. For the staining of thick sections the cerommends acid-fuchsine, light-green and fast-green FCF.
