Sixty-six patients receiving hyposensitizing allergy injections for hymenoptera sting allergy had the interval between these injections prolonged to eight weeks or longer. Thirty of these patients received 67 subsequent stings without difficulty. The author concludes that this method of treatment is an effective safe method of managing insect sting allergy.
