Abstract

It was shown that in the embryos whose fathers had been subjected to x-ray irradiation, there appeared pathological alterations involving all parts of the embryo, resulting in high postimplantation mortality. In contrast to x-ray irradiation, chloridine affecting male gametes did not result in the increased embryonic death rate and disorders in embryogenesis as compared with controls. It permitted a conclusion of the process of rat spermatogenesis being resistant to this preparation.
