Parastomal hernias are a frequent long-term complication after stomal construction. Operative therapy is only indicated in 10% of the cases. Indication for operation are symptomatic hernias. Local fascial repair has due to the high recurrence rate (80%) no longer any indication. After stomal relocation recurrent parastomal hernias are observed in 40% and incisional hernias in 20-30% of the cases. Prosthetic mesh repair has a low recurrence rate (8%) and an acceptable infection rate (9%). Thus, mesh repair is nowadays the procedure of choice for the treatment of parastomal hernias.
造口旁疝是造口术后常见的远期并发症。仅10%的病例需要手术治疗。手术指征为有症状的疝。由于局部筋膜修补复发率高（80%），现已不再适用。造口移位后，40%的病例会出现复发性造口旁疝，20%-30%的病例会出现切口疝。人工补片修补复发率低（8%），感染率可接受（9%）。因此，补片修补是目前治疗造口旁疝的首选方法。
