[Caring for AIDS patients at home--requirements for development of the concept].

Several studies concerning the care of patients with AIDS were carried out at the Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin for social research. Amongst other areas the out-patient nursing care for patients with AIDS in Germany was examined. The following article presents a case study which shows the nursing needs of patients with AIDS at their home, analysing the existing deficits and showing the specific conditions of home care nursing and the subsequent needs for concept development in nursing.
