Antibiotic prophylaxis in dental surgery.

Prevention of infection can be a minefield of uncertainty. There is little consensus of opinion on the objective criteria for diagnosing wound infection, and experts disagree on whether antibiotics should be routinely provided as prophylaxis in dental surgery.
