[Results of treatment of perforated peptic ulcer by the method of primary gastric resection].

Under observation were 315 patients subjected to primary gastric resection for perforated ulcer. Twelve patients died. Late results were followed up in 171 patients. Good issues were noted in 74.3 per cent, satisfactory--in 23.4 per cent and poor--in 2.3 per cent.
