The authors have studied the changes of serum lipoproteins spectrum after various operations in 50 women. They found different changes that can be explicated with operation stress, bleeding or fasting. After the interventions with bilateral ovarectomy they found a dyslipoproteinema with an early and rapid increase of low density lipoproteins.
