Structure-activity relationships for homoserine derivatives as inhibitors of the enzymatic synthesis of S-adenosyl-L-methionine.

The adenosyltransferase inhibitory activities of a series of homoserine derivatives were studied using Hansch equations and CNDO/2 calculations. Structure-activity relationships are established involving electronic and lipophilic parameters.
