Within one year three patients, women aged 31, 28 and 26 years, presented with a cyclic painful small mass in the inguinal region. Histopathological examination of the resected specimen showed a pattern consistent with an extra-abdominal localization of endometriosis in the round ligament. The patients' complaints disappeared after surgical resection. It is concluded that in case of a painful mass in the inguinal region in a fertile woman endometriosis of the round ligament should be considered.
在一年内，有三名年龄分别为31岁、28岁和26岁的女性患者，腹股沟区出现周期性疼痛的小肿块。切除标本的组织病理学检查显示，其模式与圆韧带内子宫内膜异位症的腹外定位一致。手术切除后患者的症状消失。结论是，对于育龄女性腹股沟区出现疼痛性肿块的情况，应考虑圆韧带子宫内膜异位症。
