[Medical and social problems related to cardiovascular diseases among the miners of the Donbass coal mines].

Occurrence and course of cardiovascular diseases in miners of Donbass is due to social and occupational factors that should be considered in early diagnosis and prophylaxis. Sudden coronary death of miners at the workplace or after leaving the mine is associated with triggering of occupational factors and now is legally appreciated as an occupational accident.
