Abstract
The fluorometric method of Nash for determination of methanol was applied in assay of kallikrein-like arginine esterases using N-a-tosyl-L-arginine methyl ester (TAME) as substrate. The results obtained using this method corresponded well with those obtained in the usual colorimetric methods using hydroxamate, chromotropic acid, and 3-methyl-2-benzothiazolone hydrazone and the present method was more sensitive than these colorimetric methods.

采用N-对甲苯磺酰-L-精氨酸甲酯（TAME）作为底物，运用纳什荧光法测定甲醇，以检测类激肽释放酶精氨酸酯酶。使用该方法获得的结果与采用异羟肟酸、变色酸和3-甲基-2-苯并噻唑酮腙的常规比色法所获得的结果高度吻合，并且本方法比这些比色法更为灵敏。
