Abstract
Dentists have to deal with many significant stressors in their personal and professional lives. It is important for dentists to learn to cope and deal with these stressors and their effects. This paper reviews the nature and causes of addictions, the relationship between addiction and stress, and methods to organize and reduce stress in work environments.
