Fifteen children with fifteen cariously exposed first permanent molars were treated with glutaraldehyde pulpotomies, using 5 percent buffered glutaraldehyde (pH8). All cases were followed up for a five-year period. Clinical and radiographic success rates obtained at the end of the fifth year were 93.3%.
