To compare the bioavailability and plasma pharmacokinetics of a generic brand of amoxycillin (State Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Coporation) selected from the lower price range, with that of the innovation brand (Amoxil, Beecham).
Sixteen healthy adult volunteers were allotted to two groups and each group was given a test dose of amoxycillin from each brand. Blood samples were collected at 0, 2, 3 and 4 hours thereafter plasma levels were assayed using high performance liquid chromatography.
Analysis of results show that the generic product had similar bioavailability and pharmacokinetics when compared with the innovator product.
The quality assured generic amoxycillin tested had similar bioavailability as a more costly branded version.
比较从低价范围内选取的阿莫西林仿制药（国家制药公司生产）与创新品牌（阿莫仙，比彻姆公司生产）的生物利用度和血浆药代动力学。
16名健康成年志愿者被分为两组，每组给予来自每个品牌的一剂试验剂量的阿莫西林。此后在0、2、3和4小时采集血样，使用高效液相色谱法测定血浆水平。
结果分析表明，与创新产品相比，仿制药具有相似的生物利用度和药代动力学。
经测试，质量有保证的阿莫西林仿制药与价格更高的品牌药具有相似的生物利用度。
