The trial of fluctuating current in combined treatment of 94 children (age 3-14 years) with chronic hypertrophic pharyngitis proved superior to the conventional treatment in the control patients: the response rate 85.7-92.5% versus 52.9%, respectively. Combined treatment including fluctuating current is thought effective in children with chronic hypertrophic pharyngitis.
对94名3至14岁慢性肥厚性咽炎儿童采用波动电流联合治疗的试验证明，其效果优于对照组的传统治疗：有效率分别为85.7 - 92.5%和52.9%。包括波动电流在内的联合治疗被认为对慢性肥厚性咽炎儿童有效。
