Patterns of mental disturbances were studied in suicides as were features of their depressive states. There were 67 patients examined in a clinical setting in the time course of their mental state; besides, 112 outpatient medical records were analyzed by modes common in catamnestic methodology. Data are submitted on the incidence of attempted suicide together with that of completed suicide in each nosological group. Clinical features of mental state in depressed suicide-minded patients are described.
