The surgical treatment experience of the funnel-like thoracic cage deformity in 60 children using the methods of their own and original instruments is presented. The fixative application is expedient in younger children and in elder it is possible to avoid it. In 93% of observations the positive result was achieved, and in 3.4% the deformity recurrencies were eliminated by means of reoperation. All the patients are alive.
