To review the available information on laparoscopic colposuspension.
One randomized controlled trial, four non-randomized comparative studies and ten open observational clinical series were reviewed.
The available information was generally poor characterized by the small size of series, considerable variation in surgical techniques, short follow-up and mainly subjective assessment of outcome.
Laparoscopic colposuspension has been shown to be technically feasible but the therapeutic usability of the procedure remains to be documented. There is an urgent need for some large, rigorous prospective randomized studies

回顾了一项随机对照试验、四项非随机对照研究以及十项开放性观察性临床系列研究。
现有信息总体质量较差，其特点为研究样本量小、手术技术差异大、随访时间短且主要是对结果的主观评估。
腹腔镜下阴道悬吊术已被证明在技术上是可行的，但该手术的治疗实用性仍有待证实。迫切需要一些大型、严谨的前瞻性随机研究。
