["Aquatic" dissection of the facial nerve for the surgery of acoustic neurinoma].

We describe a procedure facilitating dissection of the facial nerve from acoustic neuromas, consisting of a pulsed irrigation of serum. This seems to minimize nerve manipulation and thus surgical trauma.
