In the Hospital Services of Occupational health stated in Lombardy Region from seventies, among the other sections laboratories of Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology have been organized. These laboratories performed the routinary analyses and some of them deepened specific toxicological aspects (metals in Brescia, solvents in Pavia, neurotoxicants in Milan). During 1996 about 50,000 analytical determinations and several investigations and researches have been carried out. The laboratories, moreover, took active art in several national and international quality control programs. They might be identified therefore as reference units for promoting and controlling the analytical quality in Occupational Hygiene and Toxicology.
自七十年代起，在伦巴第大区的职业健康医院服务中，除其他科室外，还组建了工业卫生与毒理学实验室。这些实验室进行常规分析，其中一些还深入研究特定的毒理学方面（布雷西亚的金属、帕维亚的溶剂、米兰的神经毒剂）。1996年期间，进行了约50000次分析测定以及多项调查研究。此外，这些实验室还积极参与了多个国家和国际质量控制项目。因此，它们可被视为促进和控制职业卫生与毒理学分析质量的参考单位。
