E. essen serotype was isolated from the material collected from the right knee joint of a 11 years old white girl, sent to our hospital from Adana. The patient had sickle cell anemia plus osteomyelitis in the right knee. This is the first isolation of this serotype in Turkey.
E. essen血清型是从一名11岁白人女孩右膝关节采集的材料中分离出来的，该材料从阿达纳送至我院。该患者患有镰状细胞性贫血合并右膝骨髓炎。这是该血清型在土耳其的首次分离。
