[Peritoneal dialysis for treatment of hemolytic-uremic syndrome in children (author's transl)].

After a short introduction on etiology, symptomatology and therapy the authors present 4 cases of hemolytic-uremic syndrome. All children were treated with peritoneal dialysis which was repeated many times, when the anuric-condition lasted for a long time. Indications and the technique of the peritoneal dialysis are given. The authors prove that the peritoneal dialysis therapy of hemolytic-uremic syndrome has good results at different ages.
