Abstract
This case describes the sonographic appearance of eosinophilic gastroenteritis before and during prednisone treatment. The dramatic clinical and sonographic response to prednisone therapy confirmed the diagnosis. Sonography is a quick, low-cost, and noninvasive means of diagnosing eosinophilic gastroenteritis and together with other clinical, laboratory, and endoscopic data may prevent unnecessary and potentially dangerous abdominal surgery.
摘要
本病例描述了嗜酸性粒细胞性胃肠炎在泼尼松治疗前及治疗期间的超声表现。对泼尼松治疗的显著临床及超声反应证实了诊断。超声检查是诊断嗜酸性粒细胞性胃肠炎的一种快速、低成本且无创的方法，结合其他临床、实验室及内镜检查数据，可避免不必要且可能危险的腹部手术。
