[The function of the immune system in patients with diphtheritic myocarditis].

A comparative evaluation was carried out of parameters characterizing time-related cellular immunity in patients presenting with uncomplicated course of diphtheria and diphtherial myocarditis. Concomitant myocarditis in diphtheria patients is shown to be accompanied by aggravation of changes in the cellular link of immunity and origination of dysbalance in the functioning of the immune system.
