Eight weeks of Entomoxan administration to chickens (15 mg/kg live weight) were followed by significant change of certain physiological parameters relating to the blood, liver, suprarenal bodies, and sexual glands. Such variation was taken to indicate the presence of stress suffered by the animals' impairment of carbohydrate and fat metabolism, and defects of hormonal regulation.
