The control of inbreeding in closed herds with limited numbers of sires.

The application, in the calculation of inbreeding coefficients, of the formulae described by Wright and Cruden and a computer program based on Wright's formula, was examined. All three methods, used without rounding up, gave similar inbreeding coefficient figures.
