Plasma and buffy coat vitamin C concentrations in the dog.

In dogs, the mean plasma vitamin C concentration was found to be 0.88 mg/100 ml plasma while the mean buffy coat concentration of simultaneous blood aliquots was 42.98 mg/10(8) cells. A significant day-to-day variation was recorded for both parameters.
