Abstract

Seniors' involvement in HMOs goes against conventional wisdom, writes Peter Yedidia, president of Geriatric Health Systems, and yet enrollment in Medicare HMOs is way up and now tops 2 million. Identifying and following up on high-risk enrollees is one key to meeting financial goals.
