Monophasic action potentials were recorded in 7 mongrel dogs, endocavitarily, from heart in situ and from the epicardial surface with open chest thus revealing the characteristic configuration of the different chambers. The duration of the monophasic action potential showed a good correlation with the cycle length, demonstrated during endocavitary electrostimulation.
在7只杂种犬身上，在心腔内、原位心脏以及开胸后的心外膜表面记录到了单相动作电位，从而揭示了不同心腔的特征性形态。单相动作电位的时程与心动周期长度呈现出良好的相关性，这在心腔内电刺激过程中得到了证实。
